My first day in the Crick office was in February of 2007. Until then I’d worked on the other side of the fence – I was, and still am, a technical engineer specialising in Quality within the Automotive industry.
I knew that becoming a consultant would entail a huge learning curve, but I have to admit – I didn’t realise Jenrick was so thorough with how they recruit and how many new skills I needed to add to my armoury.
Speaking of armoury…when I'm not working you'll find me a lot of the time, playing karate. My Dad is an instructor and he’s been teaching me since I was a nipper, and I’m very proud to have achieved a Black Belt in this particular martial art as well as reaching a high standard in several others.
The Jenrick Group is regarded as one of the leading recruitment companies within the UK and is a four time "Sunday Times Top 100 Company to Work For".
I know that it may sound cliché, but recruitment really is my passion. I have worked in Engineering Recruitment since 1993 and always strive to be known for providing quality recruitment solutions. In an industry where reputation is foremost, I have aimed to maintain a high-quality, honest-service approach throughout all of my roles.
In 2000 I was approached to join the Simon Holdings Group, with a view to extending their Technical Recruitment presence into the Midlands, thereby complementing the progress of their Jenrick Engineering brand in the South since 1967.
It's great to be back in the office!
