I joined Jenrick Engineering in November 2003. Initially, I started my career as a Technical Consultant and within 6 months had been promoted to Senior Consultant.
The first major account I developed was a 1st Tier Automotive OEM and placed a range of engineers within this sector from Draughting / Design, Maintenance, Quality / Technical to Project Programme Managers.
The next major account that I developed was within a manufacturing FMCG site that was closing down manufacturing within the UK and moving abroad. I supplied a large number of contract engineers that maintained, de-commissioned, and then carried out the installation abroad along with training their local engineers. This account opened the door within the FMCG marketplace and allowed me to develop my niche area within the marketplace: Food / FMCG.
Over the last 10 years I have been extremely successful in placing both contract and permanent engineers ranging from Maintenance, Project, Design / Draughting, Quality / Technical to Management level.
With my knowledge and reputation network within the FOOD / FMCG marketplace, I am developing the “food and drink” division within Jenrick as Business Manager. This role will allow me to be the “complete recruitment solution” to companies within these sectors.
My knowledge of this market, coupled with my track record for delivery, makes me the ideal recruitment partner for your general recruitment needs and also for companies that are running specific projects and the whole solution for the new division/site opening / large installation of machinery.

The 'New Normal' Office Environment
It's great to be back in the office!
But things have changed. There are little differences around the building and a few new rules too!
What came of 2018 and how has that effected the start of 2019
2018 wasn’t a particularly straightforward year, there were many factors such as Brexit - big political decisions that came with that and on top of that the media were forecasting a slowdown of UK GDP growth. All this gave the feeling of doom and gloom. Thankfully due to the great British resolve, for the most part, these factors were sidelined by businesses with the attitude of ‘We just need to get on with it, irrespective’. For us as a business it did really feel like business as usual, just with a side of caution.
