CV
I know that it may sound cliché, but recruitment really is my passion. I have worked in Engineering Recruitment since 1993 and always strive to be known for providing quality recruitment solutions. In an industry where reputation is foremost, I have aimed to maintain a high-quality, honest-service approach throughout all of my roles.
In 2000 I was approached to join the Simon Holdings Group, with a view to extending their Technical Recruitment presence into the Midlands, thereby complementing the progress of their Jenrick Engineering brand in the South since 1967.
What really struck me was just how much their ethos matched mine; I wanted to provide an outstanding working environment, offering excellent career prospects for those joining me in my endeavour to provide the best recruitment solutions to the Industry, as did they.
It has now been a number of years since I first set up the Branch in Burton (back in 2000), with the Crick office following two years later. We now have an extremely strong branch organisation and brand which is synonymous with excellence throughout the UK.
I am extremely proud of our achievements and the client testimonials that we regularly receive only enhance this pride. Add this to our achievements within the Sunday Times Top 100 SMEs to work for awards, which we won for three consecutive years, and you will see that I am well on my way to achieving my initial aim for my organisation.
I will always strive to improve this company, both for the clients that we serve and the people that help me to serve them.
In my spare time - what is left - I enjoy keeping fit, playing badminton and travelling!
The Jenrick Group is regarded as one of the leading recruitment companies within the UK and is a four time "Sunday Times Top 100 Company to Work For".

The 'New Normal' Office Environment
It's great to be back in the office!
But things have changed. There are little differences around the building and a few new rules too!
What came of 2018 and how has that effected the start of 2019
2018 wasn’t a particularly straightforward year, there were many factors such as Brexit - big political decisions that came with that and on top of that the media were forecasting a slowdown of UK GDP growth. All this gave the feeling of doom and gloom. Thankfully due to the great British resolve, for the most part, these factors were sidelined by businesses with the attitude of ‘We just need to get on with it, irrespective’. For us as a business it did really feel like business as usual, just with a side of caution.
