We are looking to recruit a Production Shift Manager to work at a food manufacturing site based at Shaftesbury, Dorset. Monday - Friday, £32,500
The successful Shift Manager will be responsible for leading the manufacturing team to ensure efficient productivity whilst ensuring product integrity is met. Promotion of a positive Health & Safety culture in all areas will also be a key element of this role.
The Production Shift Manager will be expected to:
Assume full responsibility for manufacture and packing
Develop and lead the team through all aspects of GMP
Promote a positive Health & Safety culture in all areas.  
Ensure product integrity and safety
Support quality management
Effectively Manage the labour resource to ensure schedule adherence.
Set clear targets for the manufacturing team and ensure team understand their roles and accountabilities.
Provide direction, motivation and support through management and coaching of direct reports to meet departmental targets.
The successful Production Shift Manager must have great planning and organisational skills and have experience of managing people and teams. Computer literacy skills will be required for this Production Shift Manager role
