Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias and experience of working within a food environment is required to join a large food manufacturing company based the Shefford (Bedfordshire area)
Shifts: Wednesday - Saturday

The Maintenance Engineer role will entail:
Planned and reactive maintenance  
Carry out fault diagnosis (electrical & mechanical) and repairs.  
Ensure that repairs are executed in a timely cost effective manner.  
Work with operations to minimise line downtime and maximise equipment productivity.  
Involved in Continuous Improvements and Projects
Ensure all tasks are carried out with regard to Health & Safety and company regulations and procedures.  
Experience of working in confined spaces     
Supporting the production team the Maintenance Engineer will have a pro-active approach in maintenance and diagnosing system faults.                

Types of machines on site: Automated conveyor systems, robotic palletisers, Case Packing machines, Flow Wrappers, Multi Weighers, Cutters, Metal Detectors etc      
The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have industry recognised qualifications in Electrical Maintenance. You will have completed an apprenticeship and have previous working experience within either a Food, FMCG or Packaging environment.    

This position would suit; Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Sole Engineer, Shift Engineer, Day Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer or Packaging Engineer.
