An opportunity has arisen for an Electrically qualified, multi-skilled Service Engineer. You will form an important role in the aftercare team of a market leading food specialist machine company.

The Role:

-You will provide electrical and mechanical maintenance to a variety of automated machinery into a number of clients across the UK & Ireland
- Working against a time frame to complete reactive repairs.
- Interact with on-site management keeping them informed of repair and maintenance progression and addressing their concerns in a professional manner.
- Service and repair current installed products achieve a quick time resolution.
- Mechanical aptitude including the ability to read assembly drawings
- Appreciation of control systems
- Understanding of PLC's and their function
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge beneficial.

The Candidate:

- The successful candidate will have an Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
- You will understand and be driven by customer service working towards 100% satisfaction.
- Your experience must come from a production or manufacturing environment e.g, FOOD, FMCG, AUTOMOTIVE and preferably Service based
- Have the Ability to 'Think on their feet'
- Flexible in hours worked
- Able to take ownership of situations
- Team player
- Quick/Keen learner
-You must have the ability to travel across the U.K and Ireland

Whilst the Midlands area would make it a central location for travel to clients sites, candidates will be considered who live in other area's of the UK (with access to travel to Ireland)
