Are you a Quality Assurance Manager from a Food Manufacturing environment, looking for a new role? I am recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager for a leading manufacturer south of Carlisle.  You will be a approachable people manager with hands on technical experience. Offering a salary of c£38K for a Monday to Friday days position

As a Quality Assurance Manager your role will involve:
  • Managing a team of 3 QA Technician’s and a Hygiene Operative
  • Champion food safety and product quality as well as all aspects of change management
  • Ensure the site meets legal and regulatory requirements as well as customer and industry standards
  • Lead and develop the team
  • Work with the factory to implement and manage site programmes in order to ensure the site is always visit read
  • Participate and support in the delivery of all technical audits by customers, third parties and regulatory authorities  

Suitable Candidate:
  • Experienced Quality Assurance Manager from a Food manufacturing background
  • HACAP and Food Hygiene experience
  • Strong people manager who is approachable with the ability to manage shop floor expectations effectively
  • Confident with strong communication skills
  • Previous experience of mentoring and developing a team
  • Worked as a hands on manager
  • Happy to consider Quality Assurance Managers with 1year + experience as the personality and management style is key for this role.

What came of 2018 and how has that effected the start of 2019
