Due to the continued strong growth within a well reputed manufacturing organisation in the Darlington area an additional Two Product Validation Engineers are required on a contract basis for a twelve month period with possible extension or Permanent placement.

Working primarily from home initially due to Covid controls in place, you will ideally be local to increase potential time on site once restrictions are lifted (though this is not essential)

The Product Validation Role:

-          This product focused position verifies and validates the functionality of products across a wide range of customer requirements, across a variety of applications, in various environments.

-          This work plans, tracks, and evaluates results from a wide range of analysis and functional tests to assess product risk and performance.

-          These results are expected to drive quality decisions and proactively resolve product issues before the product reaches the customer.

-          Obtains input and negotiates with Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) stakeholders to define technical requirements and delivers an optimised component-based analytical and experimental verification plan to the program or project team.

-          Makes decisions in the areas of verification and validation that impact product performance, reliability, and durability.

-          Investigates and addresses potential component concerns or issues, understands causal mechanisms, recommends appropriate action, owns problem resolution and documents results with guidance from more experienced team members.

  
The Successful Product Validation Engineer:

- Degree Qualified in an Engineering discipline or other relevant equivalent
- Knowledge of MS Office
- General mechanical validation experience
- Project and planning experience


PAYE Rate =                          £33.80

Umbrella Gross rate =            £44.30

 

***This is role is deemed inside IR35 so candidates will need to go PAYE or through an Umbrella Company***

What came of 2018 and how has that effected the start of 2019
