A market leading manufacturer is recruiting NOW for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their facility in Burton on Trent. In return for working Monday to Friday days we are offering a competitive salary of £30,000 plus overtime at enhanced rates is also readily available (£35,000). The Mechanical Fitter will be apprentice trained (or equivalent) and will have experience within a manufacturing environment with both reactive and proactive maintenance.

Job Description

 As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the following:
 - Reactive maintenance
 - Planned maintenance
 - New project implementation
 - Problem analysis and continuous improvements
 - Flexibility

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role requires candidates with experience / skills / background in:

- Apprentice trained or equivalent
- Experienced within a manufacturing environment
- Pneumatics knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Strong team player
- Confident working autonomously
- Proactive approach to engineering

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be working Monday to Friday days and in return will be offered a competitive salary of £28,000 plus excellent pension.
