A respectful, ethical and honest business based in a picturesque location in the heart of the Cotswolds has an excellent opportunity for a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join them on a Permanent basis.

The Manufacturing Engineer will focus time on implementation of new product introductions, development of existing products and refining production processes and procedures.

The Manufacturing Engineer role:

-  Support validation activities and processes
-  Develop manufacturing processes through understanding the requirements, researching, designing, modifying and testing methods.
-  Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing existing conditions and establishing a future state.
-  Assure product quality by designing test methodology and equipment along side suitable equipment suppliers.
-  Calculate production labour and material costs to facilitate manufacturing decisions.
-  Coordinate machinery and facilities maintenance activities on site.

The successful Manufacturing Engineer:

-  You must have equivalent demonstrable experience within a similar role for a approximately five years.

-  You will be experienced in assembly manufacturing processes or injection moulding manufacturing to be considered.

-  Experience in developing Standard operation procedures and work instructions for assembly operations.

-  Methodical approach, able to comply with business systems to ensure product and process validation.

- A comprehensive understanding of clean-room manufacturing and the restrictions within would be highly advantageous.
