If you are looking to progress within a field based IT Technician role and have basic experience within a relevant field and want to develop or you have a higher level qualification and are ready to challenge yourself in industry then this role is for you!

Our Innovative, world leading and family feel organisation are looking to add an additional IT Technician to their established team of specialists. 


The IT Technician role:  
 
- Working across the UK (approximately 3 days travel per week) but based in Rugby, you will deliver and install bespoke machinery and in some instance's complete site solutions.  
- Support calls and emails (1st and 2nd level), escalations and customer specific projects such as database and networking. 
- Field service and maintenance on existing machines to ensure customer satisfaction.  
- Repair customer returns and feedback repeat issues to design and development. 


The successful Service Technician candidate:  

- Competent to successfully represent the business both over the phone and in person.  
- Full UK Driving license and willingness to offer flexibility for staying away where required.  
- Computer literate and competent with the basics of Windows office and ideally a basic understanding of SQL or at least an interest in learning. 
- Technically competent and able to learn new systems.
- Candidates should either have some basic relevant industry experience or have completed a relevant IT based degree.

What came of 2018 and how has that effected the start of 2019

2018 wasn’t a particularly straightforward year, there were many factors such as Brexit - big political decisions that came with that and on top of that the media were forecasting a slowdown of UK GDP growth. All this gave the feeling of doom and gloom.
