Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer    
We are recruiting for a multi-skilled, electrically qualified Maintenance Technician to join a major manufacturer based around the Kettering area of Northamptonshire.               
This is a Double Days shift position offering an opportunity to work for a major packaging group  
THE ROLE:        
- Your key responsibilities will be to provide Electrical and Mechanical support to ensure performance of all production machinery.      
- Prompt attendance to automated machinery failures including work electrical and mechanical systems and basic PLC fault finding  
- Continuous Improvement activities; spotting area's of the site and manufacturing area's to improve, creating solutions and implementation.  
- The successful Time Served / Apprentice trained Engineer will need to be qualified electrically and to understand electrical drawings but will also attend to most mechanical breakdowns.
- The Multi Skilled Engineer will be a logical thinker, with an autonomous approach to resolving issues and faults, a self-starter with the ability to prioritise urgent or non-urgent work. You must be a team player with sound interpersonal and enjoy being part of a small close-knit team.      
- The Maintenance Engineer should have experience within a manufacturing environment and automation machinery.  
Double days shift position 6 - 2p.m / 2 - 10p.m  
Salary: £41,000  
25 Days + Bank Hols  
Co pension (TBC)  
Attendance Bonus (circa £500 p.a)  
Birthday + Xmas Bonus

This position will suit candidates with the previous titles of: Maintenance Technician, Shift Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Multi-skilled Engineer.
