CV
Before coming to Jenrick I worked as an Exports Co-ordinator /patient support at a surgery. I decided I needed a change as I wanted a new challenge in my career.
I came across an agency who recommended Jenrick and after looking through their website and having my interview and meeting the friendly team I was very keen to progress my career within Jenrick.
I work with the Engineeirng and Food and Drink division. I have learnt so much about both industries and really have developed my skills.
When I am not at work my spare time is taken up looking after my two young children. I love eating chocolate, so you will also find me down the gym trying to burn it off!
The Jenrick Group is regarded as one of the leading recruitment companies within the UK and is a four time "Sunday Times Top 100 Company to Work For".
I know that it may sound cliché, but recruitment really is my passion. I have worked in Engineering Recruitment since 1993 and always strive to be known for providing quality recruitment solutions. In an industry where reputation is foremost, I have aimed to maintain a high-quality, honest-service approach throughout all of my roles.
In 2000 I was approached to join the Simon Holdings Group, with a view to extending their Technical Recruitment presence into the Midlands, thereby complementing the progress of their Jenrick Engineering brand in the South since 1967.

The 'New Normal' Office Environment
It's great to be back in the office!
But things have changed. There are little differences around the building and a few new rules too!
What came of 2018 and how has that effected the start of 2019
2018 wasn’t a particularly straightforward year, there were many factors such as Brexit - big political decisions that came with that and on top of that the media were forecasting a slowdown of UK GDP growth. All this gave the feeling of doom and gloom. Thankfully due to the great British resolve, for the most part, these factors were sidelined by businesses with the attitude of ‘We just need to get on with it, irrespective’. For us as a business it did really feel like business as usual, just with a side of caution.
