I started my career as a professional golf caddy before moving into the world of recruitment.
Having been in my previous role for a little while, I was keen to move onto a new challenge and it just so happened that Jenrick were recruiting at the time for a Recruitment Partner to specialise in sport and leisure and fashion, my ideal sectors!
I was recommended to Jenrick by a friend who only had extremely positive things to say about the organisation – plus, it’s hard to look past the accolade of being a ‘Sunday Times Top 100 Company to Work For’, which appealed to me instantly.
I met with Trevor Lee, the Managing Director of Jenrick Commercial and I have to say, I was so impressed with the business and the future possibilities of me potentially being able to specialise in what I have a passion in - sport, leisure and fashion recruitment. Not only that, Trevor’s experience and vision for success is extremely infectious and I wanted to be a part of that.
I’m so excited to have now joined the Jenrick Commercial team doing exactly that! I’m really looking forward to building my own desk and a strong network of clients and candidates, as well as having the opportunity to work with major sporting and fashion organisations.
My love of sport continues outside of work with my main passion being golf. I began caddying at the age of 15 at Sunningdale Golf Club to which I am still affiliated and asked to attend the odd corporate day, most recently caddying for the likes of Tim Henman, Sam Torrance and Hugh Grant! When I progressed to caddy on tour, I was lucky enough to work with Martina Eberl of Germany, who won both the Italian and Danish Opens in 2008.

Having been in recruitment for 15 years, in 2006 I decided to form Jenrick Commercial (a new division of The Jenrick Group) and I have to say, it’s been one hell of a ride. Recruitment has changed drastically over the last 15 years, however, I’ve learnt that if you keep things simple, work hard, be honest and really understand your clients and candidates then you will do well.
My loves in life are my wife (Miriam) and my son (Toron). I’ve been married for nearly 20 years, so I was snapped up early (my wife clearly has good taste – or at least I like to think so!).
