The bulk of my career has been spent in Radio Advertising, but it was three years ago that I discovered recruitment, and I’ve never enjoyed my career so much!

In my previous company I worked my way up from starting as a Recruitment Consultant before reaching the role of Consultant Sales Manager. I wanted to keep progressing, and recruit within other market sectors but there were no routes to go in my old company, which was why I decided to look externally.
One of my previous colleagues had come to work at Jenrick; he spoke so highly about the company values and ethos, and how everyone always wore a constant smile!

I felt that I had to come and see this for myself and soon realised that every word of it was true – the length of service for all the staff says it all.

I’m thoroughly enjoying my new role as a Senior Recruitment Partner (specifically Sales and Commercial) within the Commercial Team and I particularly like that Jenrick actively encourages you to make every effort to meet as many candidates and clients as possible. For me, I see this as an essential part of being a good recruiter, and I’m so pleased to have found a company that possesses the same ethos and values as me.

Outside of work music is my main passion – coming from a radio background I pretty much like ALL music and try to get to as many concerts/gigs as I can. I also play the piano, Saxophone and flute. I’ve reached Grade 8 at piano and have been playing since I was 5 years old. My Granddad bought me a Saxophone when I was 14 and I taught myself to play – I don’t play as much as I’d like for fear of annoying the neighbours!

My loves in life are my wife (Miriam) and my son (Toron). I’ve been married for nearly 20 years, so I was snapped up early (my wife clearly has good taste – or at least I like to think so!).
