C++ Quant Developer


A global organisation that is a market leader in data, research and analytics, with offices in the UK, Europe, North America, South America and Asia. Seeking a C++ Quant Developer to develop tools, infrastructure components and enhance Quant libraries.


The role
  • Support and development of tools
  • Support and development of all infrastructure components
  • Develop technical solutions as required
  • Development and enhancing the features of the various cross asset components to meet the requirements of the business

Experience required
  • At least 6 years of development experience using C++/C++17
  • Strong Experience in network programming, multithreading/multiprocessing low latency development
  • Solid experience of C++ concepts like templates and C++ 11 standard Library and C++ 17
  • Proficient in code versioning tools such as GIT, SVN etc.
 
Desirable experience

  • Experience of using Google Cloud/AWS
  • Knowledge of web technologies, including web services/REST, HTML5, Node.js and Angular.js
  • Experience in designing & implementing a web-based UI framework.
  • Python development experience
  • Spreadsheet development experience (Excel and VBA)
  • Database experience using Microsoft Database stack: SQL, SSIS and SSAS

I am Managing the already brilliant existing team but hoping to pass some of my experience of growing Technology Recruitment brands within London to the Jenrick IT brand.

I hope to be able to help the existing team improve themselves both professionally and personally through coaching, training, mentoring and I am also hoping to grow the Jenrick IT office whilst maintaining that core culture that made me join in the first place.

I used to play a lot of sports, particularly football as I was an all round avid sports fan but now with a young family I spend most of my time with my 1 year old son.  When time allows it I try to see family and friends and socialise.
