Account Manager - Global Events Organisation
£30k - £33k - Borehamwood (Some UK travel)

We are seeking an Account Manager / Customer Success Manager for this leading SAAS application provider to the Events industry. Working as a key account manager for a leading technology supplier to the events and ticketing industry, you will be required to manage a broad range of accounts to deliver across a wide range of global events. 

This isn't a pure sales role but will be more focussed on the customer success, retention of clients, troubleshooting issues, training and management of a broad range of accounts to the highest service levels. 

Core responsibilities;
  • Help on board new Events clients and provide customer service to assigned customer accounts.
  • Provide software training either during the on-boarding process or when we do software releases. 
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
  • Produce a statement of work that defines project-specific activities, web specification, deliverables and timelines.
  • Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
  • To be a positive ambassador of the company, actively promoting services where possible.
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing clients by promoting company products and services through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Own and drive account growth seek assistance from Sales/Commercial team for complex and substantial RFP’s.
  • Own account issues, feedback and consultations – escalate where possible but own any disputes to a satisfactory solution.
Skills required; 
  • Strong background in account management or customer success management for a SAAS application, Events company or IT provider. 
  • Strong training and presentation skills.
  • Background in fault resolution / problem management. 
  • Knowledge of Events or Ticketing systems. 
  • Excellent communication skills.

I hope to be able to help the existing team improve themselves both professionally and personally through coaching, training, mentoring and I am also hoping to grow the Jenrick IT office whilst maintaining that core culture that made me join in the first place.

I used to play a lot of sports, particularly football as I was an all round avid sports fan but now with a young family I spend most of my time with my 1 year old son.  When time allows it I try to see family and friends and socialise.
