We are seeking an experienced TPF developer to work on a home based contract for this large technology company.

Under general direction you will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, creation and execution of complex test plans, analysing problems, and creating program fixes in TPF.

You will work on a variety of assignments that are diverse in complexity and scope. Acting as a key contributor in a team using TPF, zTPF and Assembler to develop projects.

The role will suit someone with strong TPF / Transaction Processing Facility development skills.

You should be able to create and design specifications from advanced functional requirements. As well as creating and documenting procedures from design specifications. Customize and build new applications features. Troubleshoots problems and recommends appropriate action.

This is a home based contract for 12 months paying circa £300 per day.


* Bachelor degree or equivalent


* Solid Transaction Processing Facility (TPF) Programmer experience.
* Working knowledge of zTPF.
* Assembler.
* AIS.
* C coding in TPF.


* Agile Development Methodology.
* CVS/Toolkit.
