THE JOB

Working as part of a well established team and reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for increasing the company's success and capability within a largely unexploited business unit.  
   
The successful candidate will work in a consultative, customer focused role to increase sales turnover as well as securing several medium sized projects per year.  
   
Key Tasks:-  

- Exploiting sales leads in order to win business from new and existing clients  
- Understanding basic revenue models, P&L, cost-to-completion projections etc  
- Accurately forecasting revenue, profitability, margins, bill-rates and utilisation  
- Working to ensure clients achieve an understanding of expectations, deliverables, dependencies & risks  
- Explaining implications of changes to project scope and/or objectives to the client and project team  
- Determining project roles of team members based on project requirements, time frames and budget  
- Creating project documentation  
- Establishing and maintaining usable and well-communicated schedules for all phases of a project  
- Working with external contractors in addition to internal resources where necessary  
- Reporting and discussing project quality, client and team satisfaction, and project success metrics during regularly scheduled  and ad-hoc project review meetings with the Managing Director  
- Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepening client relationships  
   

THE PERSON

The successful candidate will have a Water Treatment, Chemical or Liquid/Food Processing background.]  
   
Essential:-  
   
- An Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training in the electro-chemical industry  
- Solid and thorough experience within a senior leadership position  
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships  
- Proven ability to manage complex projects on time and on budget  
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills  
- Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes and standards  
   
Highly Desirable:-

- A background within Water Treatment
- An understanding of dosing systems / electro-chemical equipment
