Client Delivery Manager (Account Manager / Project Manager) - Global Events company

This is a junior hybrid role that encompasses Project Management, Relationship and Account management, In the position of Client Manager, you will responsible and accountable for managing events on behalf of clients ensuring client satisfaction, retention and delivery and services in line with client need.
The Client Services Manager will take clear ownership of client issues from start to finish, and will always ensure that these are addressed and resolved. They must also be able to form excellent relationships with their allocated clients ensuring that those clients are dealt with efficiently and effectively.    

Key activities and responsibilities;

  • Frequent national and international travel to events and client meetings
  • Plan and deliver client projects to an agreed budget and timescales
  • Management of Senior Stakeholders externally and internally
  • Plan and coordinate all events activities, ensuring plans are communicated to relevant personnel both internal and external
  • Develop follow up reports and analytical data to client post event.
  • Provides customer service support which may include (refurbishing & charging technology, shipping, staff planning, booking travel, training).
  • Proactively identify and anticipate Client needs
  • Management of Senior Stakeholders internal and external
  • Work closely with the Strategic Projects Director and Support Engineers
  • Attend customer sites and show sites as and when required nationally and occasionally internationally
  • Be on-site at events if required
  • Conduct post implementation reviews of events in the spirit of continuous improvement, ensuring both customer and colleague feedback is collated and acted upon

Skills required;

  •  Strong customer facing account management or project management experience.
  •  Experience gained within the Media and/or Events Industry or similar
  •  Experience working within a similar role/at a similar level (≥ 2 yrs)
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment    
  •  Ability to work under your own initiative/with minimal supervision
  •  Prince 2 or Agile experience desirable
  •  Excellent Communication (verbal, written and listening skills), with excellent spelling, grammar and the ability to produce error-free documents
