PLC Engineering Technician, Rugby, £45,500 - £46,750
 
Maintenance Technician specialising in PLC maintenance is required to join the team within a well established household name company, who manufacturers some of the UK`s and Europe's leading and well recognised food brands for many of the major retailers and food sectors.
 
The PLC Technician will be responsible for:
 
Performing preventative maintenance on PLC systems
Program or perform repairs on PLC systems
Perform breakdown analysis (PLC/HMI/inverter control level probes, flow meters etc.).
Conduct Root Cause analysis investigation
Support Short Interval Control
Implement and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives
Upgrade production lines with new/upgraded equipment/technology
Direct activities of outside contractors
Work independently under limited supervision (self-management)
Documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed
 
The successful Engineering Technician will be experienced with electrical systems, electronics (e.g., level probes, flow meters etc.) with proven working knowledge of PLC, HMI, and inverter control
