Maintenance Manager, £55,000    
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager or Engineering Manager to work within a successful and challenging FMCG  business based in Bedford    
This is a Maintenance Manager role working operationally within the business .
You will have a team of 14 engineers and technicians reporting to you with responsibilities for delivering engineering excellence across the shift.  
Duties Include;  
You will manage the activities of a multi-disciplined engineering team drawing the best out of each individual through motivation and training where required.        
Advocate of continuous improvement and efficiency methodologies
Management of and compliance with site CMMS system.        
Provide daily shift reports highlighting downtime, performance and availability of the materials handling equipment.        
Participation in management meetings.        
Ensure all Health & Safety guidelines are met and adhered to, also promoting all company values, policies and procedures in all aspects and areas of work.          
The successful candidate will hold Engineering qualifications, Apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, have experience on managing a team of multi skilled Maintenance Engineers  with the ability to effectively manage, train and develop multi-disciplined teams.          
The role will suit a Maintenance Manager, Shift Manager, Engineering Maintenance Manager, Chief Engineer, Engineering Operations manager, Engineering Manager
