£38,000 plus benefits       

        

An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer has arisen to join a market leading multi sited manufacturing company based in .       

        

As the Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical  will work as part of a strong team of Multi Skilled Engineers maintaining the site production and packaging machinery.  Using both skills in Electrical and Mechanical maintenance, the Maintenance Engineer will be expected to react and respond quickly to breakdowns, service and repair of the site machinery, having passion to produce high quality products and understand how to achieve the highest engineering standards in line with both company and customer expectations       

 

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will:   

Support for all production activity to maintain machinery   

Analysing breakdowns / Continuous Improvements   

Services and supplies to the site   

PPM schedules   

Optimum running efficiency of all equipment,     

Lean Manufacturing  

 

    

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be mechanically biased, and have the ability to identify opportunities for developing new work methods and actively seek continuous improvements, ideally with knowledge or exposure to packaging
