Maintenance Engineer, Thetford, £42,000, Continental Shifts        
Maintenance Engineer required to join one of the UK's leading Food manufacturers based in Norfolk.        
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will perform Electrical and Mechanical day to day planned maintenance and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery.        
As the Maintenance Engineer you will provide both electrical and mechanical maintenance to all production machinery, this will include, check weighers, bagger, formers, ovens , chillers and much more.  
Diagnosing Electrical and Mechanical faults and carrying out maintenance work    
Working with a planned preventative maintenance schedule  
Ability to spot and implement continuous improvement activities to reduce downtime and help increase productivity.  
Involvement in project work when required    
Ability to provide PLC fault finding to input, output level.  
The Maintenance Engineer will be electrical bias with skills in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.  
Coming from a food or FMCG background will be highly advantageous for the maintenance position, although other manufacturing backgrounds will be considered.  
The successful Maintenance Engineer will have completed an Electrical engineering apprenticeship or have an electrical qualification to NVQ level 3 or above. You will  ideally have working experience from within the food industry however FMCG , packaging , automotive or others will be considered.
