£35,000 - £40,000    
Maintenance Engineer to join a major manufacturer.   
Maintenance Role:
Your key responsibilities will be to provide Mechanical and Electrical support to ensure performance of all production and packaging machinery (i.e. Production Lines, Conveyors and packaging machinery).
Carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance on site.
PLC fault finding to input / output level and work on hydraulic & pneumatic systems
Maintaining accurate and timely records with planned, preventative and reactive maintenance work.
The ability to implement continuous improvement activities across the board in order for the site to run at its maximum efficiency.

The Maintenance Engineer

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be a Time Served, Apprentice trained Electrically or Electrical bias Multi Skilled Engineer, a logical thinker, with an proactive approach to resolving issues and faults, a self starter with the ability to prioritise urgent or non urgent work. You must be a team player with sound interpersonal skills and be able to comply with Health, Safety and environments requirements.
The Maintenance Engineer should have experience within a manufacturing environment and ideally an understanding of;
- Filling Machinery
- FMCG hygiene
- Experience with PLC's (Siemens & Allen Bradley)
