As the Hygiene Supervisor, you will be managing the Hygiene team, and seeing that procedures are being fully adhered to and tasks are being completed according to schedule. This includes both scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning.
Carrying out both root cause analysis, and driving associated corrective actions on any non-conformances raised by internal and external hygiene audits. Collaborating with both Operations and Food Technical teams to ensure that standard is maintained each day. You'll also manage the hygiene validations and the ongoing verification process of these validations, which would include allergen and microbiological swabbing etc
Ensuring we have robust hygiene systems and cleaning instruction cards for all equipment, all areas and all cleaning tasks
Completing coherently planned hygiene schedules to ensure the plant and the environment are maintained to a high hygiene standard through effective deployment of resources and forward planning
Ensuring that the required quality, safety, hygiene and environmental standards are implemented, maintained and improved
Supporting the engineering function in monitoring routine preventative maintenance cleaning schedules
Meeting with suppliers to optimise chemical cleaning and equipment to ensure optimum effectiveness for the job
