Engineering Manager, London, £60,000 + package
 
Experienced Engineering Manager required to join a leading Food Manufacturer in the London area.  
 
As Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:
Leading the sites engineering team in activities to establish and maintain safe, compliant and effective engineering operations that continually develop and improve the site.
Drive the engineering function to provide good manufacturing processes that comply with both Food Safety and Health & Safety Standards, devising an engineering strategy which supports the manufacturing units strategic goals and is compliant with all company and legislative standards.   
Drive year on year improvements to deliver enhanced engineering standards aligned with manufacturing unit objectives.
Provide leadership and direction to your team and play a key role in promoting a culture of continuous improvement

The ideal Engineering Manager will have a proven record of leading an Engineering department with strong leadership skills. You will have the relevant Engineering qualifications in place at either HND or degree level.  Previous experience of working within manufacturing is essential, and a background with food manufacturing industry, would be preferred.
