If you are an experienced Quality Engineer with a history of successful new product introduction within the Automotive industry then please read on!   This role, starting with a six month contract period will focus on exactly that and has a strong likelihood of extension or a permanent role for the right candidate.   

The Senior Quality Engineer will be a pivotal part of ensuring the successful and timely introduction of an important Customers product along side the quality team and wider Engineering function.

Your Senior Quality Engineer role will include:

- Advanced Product Quality Planning - Lead the technical quality planning and ensures customer satisfaction through structured and measurable processes as defined by industry standards.

- Development of PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, Part Layout, Capability Analysis, coordination of Material Analysis, PPAP, Source Release

- Dimensional Metrology - Applies dimensional measurement science in the development and application of measurement/inspection processes that deliver capable measurement results.

- Develop and maintain inspection processes – incoming components, in process checks and final inspection

The Successful Snr Quality Engineer Candidate:

-          You will have 3 to 5 years of experience within a Quality role responsible for delivering APQP to Automotive customers

-          Excellent GD&T knowledge and understanding

-          HNC, HND or Degree in an Engineering or Quality Assurance discipline

-          Ideal candidates will have knowledge of CMM or 3D scan measurement technology and some exposure to Robot and manual welding processes.
