An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Engineer to join an excellent low volume, bespoke assembly manufacturing company based in the Northampton area.

You will sell to a large National corporation, Network and infrastructure contractors and develop these relationships to maximise both existing relationships and establish new.

The Sales Engineer Role:

- Promoting, market and sell company products and services through the UK and Ireland.  
- Problem solve with issues that affect customer sites to ensure that resolutions are in place and visible to the end client.  
- Support customer business tenders and ensure that all information required from the client is available to give timely and adequate responses to enquiries.
- Travel to client facilities to develop relationships and understand the potential product requirements.
- Facilitate and attend trade shows and exhibitions.
- Demonstrate the use of company products and where appropriate deliver training. 

The Successful Sales Engineering Candidate:

- Demonstrable account management / Active selling experience within a Technical, Engineered product.  
- Experience within a heavy product background, such as off highway vehicles, rail, special purpose vehicles, heavy plant, Materials Handling and Yellow goods.  
- The sales Engineer will hold a formal qualification within a Technical Discipline and be confident learning new products and unlocking new markets.

2018 wasn’t a particularly straightforward year, there were many factors such as Brexit - big political decisions that came with that and on top of that the media were forecasting a slowdown of UK GDP growth. All this gave the feeling of doom and gloom. Jenrick Engineering Burton have enjoyed an extremely busy start to the year – with the amount of available jobs up by  23%, and an increase of new clients up by 10% for the same period of 2017.
