This market leading FMCG manufacturer are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join their thriving business based on the outskirts of Market Drayton. You will work a rotating shift pattern (6-2/2-10/10-6) with 10 Saturday shifts per year for £30-40k.

A Quality Manager is required to join a busy quality team. Creating maximum impact on site is something required, which could lead to massive opportunities working for this superior production facility, specialising in the manufacture of food products directly into many major high street retailers and food service sector,

The suitable candidate will have the following skills and be able to demonstrate their application in previous job roles-

* Background in Food Manufacturing or FMCG
* Excellent People Management skills to motivate, lead people and drive change
* Experience of quality assurance in a fast moving production environment within the food industry.
* Ability to manage, motivate and develop the QA Team.
* Working with a major retailer
* Problem solving and investigative skills - demonstrating route cause analysis, and problem prevention.
* Knowledge of HACCP and BRC

The role

* Reporting directly to the Technical Manager
* Day to day management of the QA function throughout the site and will work closely with the Technical Manager
* Continuous improvement with the quality and technical function
* Excellent man-management and quality systems management skills are a pre-requisite for this role.
*Maintaining documentation for all incoming raw material and finished products
*Support and management of QCs
* Monitoring any recalls
* Manage all food, hygiene and safety on site
* Daily process control and GMP
* Working with a major retailer on a daily basis

In return, we are offering a yearly rate £30,000-£40,000 + pension, 20 holidays including BH

Jenrick Engineering Burton have enjoyed an extremely busy start to the year – with the amount of available jobs up by  23%, and an increase of new clients up by 10% for the same period of 2017. Due to an increase of investment in various sectors within engineering and manufacturing, businesses are recruiting more people to help cover the demand of the increased number of contracts that have been on the rise in the last 18 months.
