An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Coordinator to join an excellent low volume, bespoke manufacturing company based in the Buckingham area.

The Production Coordinator Role:

- Working from Production orders which could vary hugely in volume and duration, the Production Coordinator will work at a fast pace understanding, breaking down the content and BOM to understand order volumes and timescales involved.
 
- Approaching established Suppliers to gain quotations for required products and materials to fulfill orders within agreed timescales.
 
- Liaising with the production team to ensure all stock levels are monitored and maintained effectively.

- Input and maintain information within custom made ERP system to ensure data accuracy.

- Review supplier products upon arrival to ensure they are reconciled with invoices that the finance team hold.


The Successful Production Coordinator: 

- Above all else the Production Coordinator will be driven to succeed, conscientious, meticulous and willing to instigate change where required.

- You will have relevant experience of working within the business administration side of a manufacturing / production company and understand the following:

                                                            - BOM’s

                                                            - Quotation process

                                                            - ERP / MRP Systems  (Like SAP)

                                                            - Production scheduling and coordination

- Self motivated, commercially aware with an analytical approach to solving problems.
- Confident communicator in all forms and able to operate all the Microsoft packages effectively.
- If you have previously implemented a production control monitoring system, this would be highly beneficial.
- Candidates with a background of Improvement initiatives and lean are desirable

2018 wasn’t a particularly straightforward year, there were many factors such as Brexit - big political decisions that came with that and on top of that the media were forecasting a slowdown of UK GDP growth. All this gave the feeling of doom and gloom. Jenrick Engineering Burton have enjoyed an extremely busy start to the year – with the amount of available jobs up by  23%, and an increase of new clients up by 10% for the same period of 2017. Due to an increase of investment in various sectors within engineering and manufacturing, businesses are recruiting more people to help cover the demand of the increased number of contracts that have been on the rise in the last 18 months. The new offices boast 2,000 sq. ft. of open plan space with purpose built interviewing and conference facilities offering clients a confidential space to conduct off site interviews at no cost.

 

The extra space and open plan layout will enhance our internal communication and knowledge on available roles and candidates which increases the speed to which we can respond to vacancies, and will allow for Jenrick Engineering to further recruit internal staff to enhance the excellent service provided to a range of clients within the engineering, food and drink and manufacturing sectors. It will also allow Jenrick Engineering to support new sectors and industries that are currently experiencing a high demand for highly skilled permanent, interim personnel and contractors.
