A well established, well reputed manufacturing business based in the Corby area are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to join them on a days basis

You will be joining a friendly team and working within a combination role, some hands on and some office based planning and facilitation.

The Maintenance Team Leader Role:

- Maintenance of Production machinery on both a reactive and preventative basis.

- You will manage the activities of a multi-disciplined engineering team drawing the best out of each individual through motivation and training where required.        

- The successful Maintenance team leader will report to operations and run a business unit with the objective of maximising operational effectiveness and machine availability.

- Planning & Coordination of maintenance activities on site.

- Ensure all Health & Safety guidelines are met and adhered to, also promoting all company values, policies and procedures in all aspects and areas of work.          

- Mechanical and Electrical maintenance on site.

- Facilities maintenance to ensure continued safe operation on site including building materials.

The Successful Maintenance Team Leader:

- Proven experience within a maintenance Engineering role, the successful candidate will be confident within both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering but can be biased towards either discipline.

- Ability to effectively manage, train and develop multi-disciplined teams.         

- Qualified within an Engineering discipline, the Maintenance Team leader will ideally have completed an Apprenticeship but other academic routes will be considered.

- Previous experience working within a manufacturing / production environment is essential

- A strong understanding of H&S standards        



Some expectation to cover both Morning and Evening shifts when required for holiday, projects or resolution of serious machinery issues.
