A Maintenance Engineer wanted with experience and knowledge in both electrical and mechanical maintenance to join a leading FMCG manufacturer based in Trowbridge.  

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be Electrically biased and carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on FMCH manufacturing machines.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:   
Diagnosing Electrical and Mechanical faults 
Carry out pre-emptive condition-based monitoring on specified items of plant 
Raise workorders, input breakdown and root cause corrective work
Carrying out reactive maintenance work    
Participate in site engineering projects to investigate, understand and improve existing processes;
Working with support departments, aim to drive down waste and increase capacity;  
Working with a planned preventative maintenance schedule     
Continuous improvements     
PLC Fault finding     

The successful Maintenance Engineer will have completed an Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold electrical qualifications to NVQ level 3 or above.        
Practical mechanical and electrical experience within a production environment
Understanding of professional maintenance techniques; Predictive, Preventative, Condition based & Planned
Computer literate

Coming from a manufacturing environment is essential for the position.

Monday – Friday Double Days 7am – 3pm, 3pm – 11pm
£38,000 per annum
