Electrical Multi Skilled Engineer

        

An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Food manufacturers based in Wrexham area.       

Due to the fast paced, hi-speed automated environment we need a pro-active and forward thinking Multi Skilled / Maintenance Engineer to perform Electrical & Mechanical planned and reactive maintenance on food production and packaging machinery.       

        

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

Diagnosing Electrical and Mechanical faults on automated production machines

Electrical fault finding

Repairing contacts, sensors, switches, relays, gear boxes, motors

Responding to machine breakdowns   

Working with a planned preventative maintenance schedule

Proposing ideas for continuous improvements

Involvement in project work when required     

 

The Candidate

The Maintenance Engineer will be electrical bias with skills in both mechanical and electrical

A food or FMCG background will be highly advantageous for the maintenance position.

Ideally the Maintenance Engineer will have completed an Electrical engineering apprenticeship or have and electrical qualification to NVQ level 3 or above.
