Maintenance Engineer, Mon - Fri, £39,000 - £40,000, Bishops Stortford  
Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer required to join an established engineering team within the FMCG industry. This maintenance position has a strong focus on driving efficiencies, minimizing downtime and working to enhance the plant through continuous improvement.   
As the Maintenance Engineer you will:  
Work to maximise and enhance the up time of production machinery  
Pro-actively engaging with production teams and other maintenance engineers to assist in supporting the agreed production plan.  
Carry out PPM (planned preventative maintenance)  
Ensure that the site remains focused on the Health and Safety agenda in accordance with compliance and statutory requirements.    
The successful Maintenance Engineer will have experience of working within a manufacturing or packaging environment, completed an apprenticeship and ideally hold both electrical and mechanical qualifications and experience.   
This position would suit; Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Shift Engineer, Day Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, service Engineer or Packaging Engineer.

2018 wasn’t a particularly straightforward year, there were many factors such as Brexit - big political decisions that came with that and on top of that the media were forecasting a slowdown of UK GDP growth. All this gave the feeling of doom and gloom. Jenrick Engineering Burton have enjoyed an extremely busy start to the year – with the amount of available jobs up by  23%, and an increase of new clients up by 10% for the same period of 2017.
