This global group, one of the leading manufacturers in pumping systems and solutions worldwide, are currently looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to be based within Leeds and surrounding areas, attending customer sites, to service, maintain and install new and existing equipment.  You will be apprentice trained with a Mechanical bias, some Electrical skills would be advantageous. One of the world’s largest manufacturers in its field, providing solutions to a variety of industry applications including packaging, conveying, heat treatment, distillation, lifting, drying etc.

 Job Purpose:-

To visit customer sites in order to maintain pumping systems and solutions plus all associated plant. Providing scheduled and emergency maintenance cover.

 As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:-

Fault finding, stripping down and repairing all vacuum pumps and associated plant
Emergency break down cover (1 week in 5)
Carry out tasks to an exemplary standard in line with pre set performance targets
This is a customer focussed role – must be client facing
Some installation work is included with the role
Complete service reports  

 Person Specification:-

Experienced Field Service Engineer ideally with previous experience of maintaining pumps and pumping solutions
Apprentice trained Engineer with a Mechanical bias
Electrical skills would be advantageous
Ability to make decisions on site which are in the interest of both the customer and employer
Strong communicator
Able to liaise with all levels on a customer site


Hours: 40Hours per week
Overtime: 1st hour is unpaid then hours are paid at x1.5 Monday to Saturday // x2 Sunday
Call Out:  1 week in 5 – paid at £40 per day

Jenrick Engineering Burton have enjoyed an extremely busy start to the year – with the amount of available jobs up by  23%, and an increase of new clients up by 10% for the same period of 2017.
