We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our fast paced manufacturing company based in the Corby area.

The maintenance Engineer will be working on a Monday – Friday Double day’s system with call outs one week in ten.

This is an exciting and varied role working within an environment full of complex machinery and diverse engineering challenges.

The Maintenance Engineer Role:      

- Provision of maintenance on fast moving print and packaging machinery
- Responsible for electrical and basic mechanical repairs.
- Completing reactive and preventative maintenance on packaging machinery.
- Maximise machine efficiency and minimise both breakdowns and production disturbances.
- The Multi skilled maintenance engineer will be involved in improvement programs as a part of a drive to improve machine efficiency and safety.

The Successful Maintenance Engineer Requirements:     

- The successful Maintenance Engineer will be confident to resolve both complex electrical and basic mechanical issues and will have previous demonstrable experience of doing so.
- The ideal Maintenance Engineer will be apprentice trained or qualified to ONC/HNC level or higher.
- Coming from an FMCG background would be highly advantageous but other industries will be considered.
- The Maintenance Engineer MUST have previously worked within an manufacturing environment.

Shift Pattern: 
6am - 2pm
2pm - 10pm

£35,000 per annum (Circa)
25 days holiday and bank holidays
Overtime available

Relevant candidates may have previously worked within the following roles: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Shift Engineer, Shift technician, Maintenance Electrician, Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer.
