This Global Engineering company are looking now for an Electrically bias Maintenance Engineer, to join their team in Alfreton, Derbyshire.  You will be apprentice trained with experience of working as a Maintenance Engineer heavy manufacturing companies locally. You will maintain an array of machinery including furnaces, plasma cutting machines and PLC machines.  Offering a salary of c£33K inc Shift Allowance to work a 3 shift pattern Monday to Friday (7am-3pm/3pm-11pm/11pm-7am) + 25 days holiday, pension, healthcare cash plan, working in a modern facility with a low staff turnover and exciting future visions and growth plans.

Job Purpose:   

To Carry out installation and maintenance of electrical power supplies ensuring that all electrical works are to IEE and British standards.   

The Role:  

General machine maintenance   
Attending to breakdowns both electrically and mechanically   
Carrying out testing and inspection   
Assemble, install, test, clarify and maintain electrical wiring equipment   
Monitor, adjust and identify faults as required  
PLC Fault Finding on Allen Bradley and Siemens   
Reactive Maintenance   
Plan and carry out small projects   
Install and maintain three phase and single phase control gear for motors, pumps and fans   

The Person:  

Apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias (60/40 as a minimum)  
Strong Mechanical skills   
Experience of working within a heavy industry ie Concrete, Steel, Foundry   
17th Edition   
PLC Knowledge - preferable Allen Bradley   
Excellent communication skills   
Someone looking to progress within their career
