This fast growing Fintech business based in central London still retains the rapid pace & exciting environment associated with entrepreneurial Start-Up’s, and through continued growth & success of their international Mobile Wallet platforms, are now seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with Django / Python skills, to play a key role in shaping the future technologies of this exciting company.

The Senior Fullstack Engineer will work as part of a small & skilled product engineering team who enjoy good autonomy, to build industry leading, next-generation systems in a highly collaborative work environment. As part of this technology team, the Senior Fullstack Engineer will focus on designing & building a data driven marketing platform that enables this leading player in the secure payments, loyalty and customer engagement space, to provide it’s Retailer customers with the ability to deliver engaging campaigns direct to their customers via a web based dashboard, whilst providing it's customers with secure payment solutions, completing retail transactions smoothly & efficiently.

Responsibilities Include:
Designing and implementing REST endpoints and creating a great user experience through the use of visualisations and modern web technologies on the dashboard

Creating retailer campaigns that will be visible on mobile apps

Working with your team to reveal actionable insight into a retailer's customer behaviour and enable them to engage these customers via targeted loyalty campaigns

Writing Python and JavaScript code which is reusable, testable and efficient alongside other technologies including AWS, Docker and ReactJS

Working alongside highly-skilled engineers in a fast-moving but stable environment in a continuous deployment workflow meaning testing and QA is a part of your role

Taking part in planning sessions and retrospectives, including upto 20% of personal development time

Skills/ Experience
Experience in start-up and/or entrepreneurial environments is desirable
Experience gained in roles such as lead full-stack developer, senior full-stack developer, full-stack engineer, AWS stack developer, software engineer or similar
Experience with Django / Python OR an experienced coder with Ruby or Scala who wants to learn and use Python
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
Experience with Git or similar distributed source control systems
Experience writing tests (Functional, Performance, and Unit Tests)
Strong working knowledge of Javascript (Native) + ES6, React, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS
Proactive - a sense of urgency and a natural problem solver
An entrepreneurial outlook and spirit, with ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to handle ambiguity
