As one of the most revered leaders in their industry, this technology led organisation is widely regarded as one of Britain’s global success stories. This is a fantastic opportunity to join them as a Senior Finance Manager within Financial Reporting.

 

This role will report in the Director, Financial Reporting, and you will help drive transformative change within the Financial Reporting team to ensure we deliver best in class financial reporting.

 

This team is responsible for ensuring that the company meets its global external reporting obligations and is in the process of developing their internal reporting suite to support their growing FP&A team.

 

What will you be accountable for?
  • You will design and implement a new set of external reporting processes that includes half-yearly and annual results summaries
  • You will be initiating the implementation of a new internal reporting framework from requirements gathering through to delivery
  • This includes, but is not limited to, Board Reporting, Executive Committee Reporting and Management accounts
  • You will work across Financial Reporting, FP&A and Accounting to help centralise internal reporting and ensure there is a clear lines of responsibility and ownership
  • You will work with the management accountant to deliver a robust set of management accounts that can be used across the business to drive a consistent view of business performance
 

Job Requirements
  • You will be a qualified accountant with experience of both internal and external financial reporting in a large company
  • You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to socialise new financial reporting metrics with both finance and non finance partners
  • As a self-starter, you will be passionate about finding solutions and improvements to processes
  • You will be able to build strong relationships with key internal partners to ensure varied requirements can be consolidated and articulated
