Head of Guest/Customer Planning, St Albans/Hemel Hempstead Area, Up to £65,000 per annum + Great benefits (Times Top 100 Company)

The Head of Guest Planning will form a critical part of the Operational Excellence department, focused on ensuring rosters for teams across all operational areas and across all sites align with demand drivers within the operational area.

The role will ensure data is developed for teams to provide them with the insight they require to make optimum decisions when planning for the guest, engaging teams in how to make better decisions for the guest and the business.

The role will focus on benchmarking plans across operational areas within each site, and engaging and coaching teams through General Managers and Operations Directors. This then in turn helps the Managers forward plans so that they are best aligned with the insight for the guests demand.

Working with operational accountants, the role will also be responsible for maximising compliance, ensuring decisions are made proactively with Operation Accountants and Ops Directors to offset poor efficiency or poor customer service before it happens.

Working with GMs and Operational Head of Departments this role will take responsibly for improving the systems available to teams and improve demand forecast quality to enable our clients teams to better plan for the guest/customer

Ideal Experience Required:

Demand Planning within either a retail, travel or hospitality arena
Strong communication skills with the ability to get the best from individuals
Good commercial understanding
Strong analytical skills with the ability to foresee and plan for the best outcome
Flexibility to travel to various sites in the UK

This role would suit an individual that is looking for a forward thinking, customer focused organisation.  The client is one of the best at providing a lasting and positive experience to its customers and this position will be instrumental in ensuring that all plans and infrastructures in in place to cope with the peaks and seasonal demands of the business.
