DEALERSHIP DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Fantastic Global Leader - Vehicle Warranty & Motoring Programmes

A truly unique opportunity for a first class consultative Sales professional to join this Global Leader in Vehicle Warranty & Motoring Programmes.

PACKAGE: £36,500 Basic Salary (£43,500 OTE) + Outstanding Blue chip Benefits including Private Healthcare, Pension, Life Insurance + many more

LOCATION: Field Based Covering Oxfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire and Bath/ Bristol


The Development Manager will be responsible for managing and controlling the profitable development of dealerships within their sales territory, in relation to used vehicle sales metric and ensuring the Manufacturers Approved Used Vehicle Programme standards are adhered to.

 - Effectively monitor, develop and review dealerships in relation to all aspects of used vehicle retailing/ re marketing.
- Motivate dealers in striving to achieve objectives and targets as agreed
- Support the Manufacturers personnel in developing the dealer performance.
 Monitor & report performance, analysing data, identifying areas of good performance in order to share best practice and areas of poor performance in order to take or recommend timely remedial action.
- Review and agree action plans with the manufacturers dealerships in order to achieve objectives, KPI's and improve processes.
- Prepare and present proposals on current or prospective practices and/ or products to the dealerships
- Conduct performance reviews with key dealerships group personnel as required by the manufacturer or the company


Strong understanding of the Motor Industry and or Dealer knowledge is essential
- Experience of preparing presentations and presenting to a senior level audience
- A minimum of 2-3 years in a field sales role would be advantageous
- Strong consultative sales approach with an anilytical flair
- Outstanding relationship management and networking skills with the ability to establish credibility, influence senior managers and build strong commercial relationships
- Ability to collect, collate, understand and evaluate information including financial data with good attention to detail
