Assistant Operations Manager is required for a charming country retreat of a hotel based in the heart of the Surrey country side.  This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an amazing hotel that are growing rapidly.

As Assistant Operations Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the running of the hotel’s day to day operations and will assist to focus on driving revenue, customer satisfaction and service delivery.

We are looking for an experienced stable individual who has a strong hotel background and has ideally dealt with hotels that have conference and events facilities.

You must be highly presentable, energetic and passionate about your career.

Your day to day duties as an Assistant Operations Manager are:
  • Deliver high standards of service to ensure guest satisfaction;
  • Assist with daily hotel operations;
  • Supervise and assist with Managers in looking after of departments;
  • Monitor training records and personal development plans;
  • Promote teamwork and motivation to staff and managers;
  • Carry out regular appraisals and department meetings;
  • Develop conference and banqueting as well as food and beverage products;
  • Analyse competitors offerings;
  • Assist with development of menus and pricing strategies
Flexibility with working days and times is needed however you will work 5 days on and 2 days off in a week.

You also MUST be a driver for this position as the location of the hotel is very tricky to get to by public transport.
