Accounts Payable Staff Accountant is required for an exciting company who have offices just outside of Oxford.  

We are looking for an outgoing and experienced Accounts Payable Accountant who is experienced in multiple entities and currencies.  You must also be highly skilled in MS Excel, be highly organised with strong time management skills.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will responsible for the processing and payment of domestic and international invoices.

The successful Accounts Payable Staff Accountant will:
  • Code and enter invoices into the accounting system;
  • Process payment runs, payments and manual wires through banking integrations and other tools.
  • Coordinate AP workflow to ensure timely review of AP invoices by department managers.
  • Work with the business to obtain information required to setup new vendors
  • Work with vendors to resolve disputes and provide payment information as required
  • Perform vendor reconciliations.
  • Develop AP analytics and cash flow requirements forecasting
  • Provide support to employees submitting expenses for reimbursement.
  • Manage the issue of corporate credit cards and the relationship with the card provider.
  • Work with various departments to determine accruals for month-end closings;
  • Develop journal entries during the month end close process.
  • Reconcile and provide analytics monthly on certain Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Provide schedules and information for statutory filings and audits as needed.
  • Perform numerous other tasks and projects as required.
