Initiated by Jenrick’s Engineering Division, the Group was very pleased to support Jeans for Genes Day, on Friday October 5th. Jeans for Genes Day raises money for Genetic Disorders UK and aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders. Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK - that's more than 30,000 babies each year. Their associated health problems mean that genetic disorders are the biggest cause of death of children aged 14 years and under. Jenrick Engineering’s two offices, in Burton on Trent and Crick, were supported in raising awareness for the Day by Jenrick IT and Jenrick Commercial, both of whom are based at the Group’s Head Office in Walton on Thames. We're still gathering in all the money that was donated on the day, but so far it looks like the Group has raised a sum of over £100. Good work everyone and thanks for joining in!
