On Friday March 23rd, we were very pleased to welcome Laura Coxeter, Raw Chocolate expert and featured guest on Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's "River Cottage" TV Show, to the Clock Tower.  Laura conducted a thoroughly absorbing workshop with our company as she discussed the nutritional benefits of creating wonderfully tasty foods combing a basis of raw chocolate and a wide selection of naturals flavours, oils, spices and berries. The hour we all spent with Laura was incredibly educational as she helped to introduce us all to the health benefits of eating raw foods. We've included a handful of the comments we received from the people who attended the workshop:
I thought Laura's workshop was very informative, yet fun and informal. She clearly has passion for what she does. Melanie Williams Laura's workshop was fantastic - it really gave me an insight into how using the right ingredients can completely transform the way your body responds on a daily basis. I learnt a lot from it and would definitely recommend Laura's workshop to anyone else looking to improve their eating habits for a healthier lifestyle. Jenna Affleck I thought that the workshop was great. It showed you more about alternative ingredients for use in cooking and how to make tasty chocolate using alternative ingredients. Matt Hancock I found Laura's delivery very warm, informative and fun. Of course, she was talking about a subject which is very close to my heart anyway. However, her approach to raw foods makes perfect sense to me and has made me think more about what I put into my body and to my approach in food in general. More of the same please! Jane Stevens A real eye-opener that was informative and entertaining all at the same time! I've already made several "additions" to my daily diet, based on Laura's suggestions. Kevin Matthews I found Laura a interesting lady and finding out all the natural ingredients available from around the world. Amazing finding out about raw foods, and about the pure cocoa beans. Sally Piner I found the information Laura gave in her workshop very interesting and at the weekend I bought a carton of goat's milk and also coconut milk to try. Gill Brown
