is reporting a large increase in the demand for IT professionals within the Testing Arena
in and around the Greater London Area, in particular within Financial Services.
Matt Hancock comments:
“Although there has been an obvious slow down in the number of roles released to the market most of our clients are still looking to ship development projects planned throughout 2008. Project delivery is still of extreme importance to many of our clients and the launch of various development projects and new application releases are considered extremely important to remain competitive throughout the rest of 2009 and moving into 2010.
We’ve had multiple requirements for Testers on both the permanent and contract side and are looking for a variety of skillsets such as functional testers, non functional testers, system testers, performance testers, regression testers, penetration testers, technical testers and UAT testers.”
Testing throughout and during the final stages of the Development Lifecycle is of utmost importance to ensure application and system releases are fully functional and up to standard. Clients have high expectations of new releases and want minimal disruption for new software and product launches that come at a high cost to their organisation.
Matt Hancock explained further:
“We are consistently looking to source good testing candidates across the board with a strong financial services background.
Ideal candidates will have a number of years experience testing real time highly transaction systems, preferably from an Investment Banking background.”
