Specialist recruiters Jenrick Engineering will be returning again to Uttoxeter Races on Sunday June 29th for the Britannia Building Society Summer National Meet. It will be the forth time the Jenrick Team have returned to the picturesque venue for an afternoon of racing and entertainment for their clients and staff. Julie Alton, MD of Jenrick Engineering and organiser of the annual event, commented on how much fun everyone has at the day: “It’s a great day out for our team and also our clients. It actually gives us a chance to sit and chat with them, and also to each other – something we never normally have the opportunity to do within all of our hectic schedules. As an extra this year, we are also sponsoring a race; the 3.45 Handicap Hurdle Race, which will add something extra to the afternoon. This will be an exciting opportunity for us and three of our clients to really get involved with the races. We will be holding a lottery on the day to choose the three clients who will join me in  presenting the winners trophy and joining the winning owner, trainer and jockey for a champagne celebration in their private suite in the weighing room. The other main focus for the event this year is to recognise our success within the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work for Awards, and an opportunity to thank our clients for their support in enabling us to achieve this prestigious award – lets face it, without our clients we wouldn’t be able to offer a work place at all!!At only our second year entering the awards, we managed to break into the Top 10 and finish in 7th place, being nominated for a special award for Corporate Wellbeing and Work/Life Balance along the way.   This event will be the ideal venue for us to share this with our clients and at the same time, explain a little more about the ethos of how we run Jenrick Engineering, and why we have been recognised as one of the best employers in the country.” For more details call The Burton or Crick Offices of Jenrick Engineering.
