Jenrick Engineering is working in partnership with Skills4Stem Ltd., to deliver the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 5 Engineering Award for Leadership and Management. Designed to directly address the STEM skills shortages throughout the UK, the ILM course structure focuses on the real-world challenges that engineering leaders and managers face, by utilising a learning and assessment programme that is built around your specific workplace. This maximises the value of the learning experience for the managers, whilst enabling them to address live workplace issues while on the course.
Who are these qualifications for?
The ILM Level 5 Award Leadership and Management is designed for practising middle managers, helping them to develop their skills and experience, improve performance and prepare for senior management responsibilities.
The qualifications are made up of a broad range of units covering skills in six core areas:
- Leadership Capability & Performance
- Developing financial skills and management
- Leading innovation and change
- Developing critical thinking
- Understanding organisational culture and ethics
- Managing stress and conflict within an organisation
WHEN AND WHERE?
1 x Six week ‘Open’, six (3hr, half day) module course held at Jenrick Engineering, Crick NN6 7TG. The course will run each Thursday morning from 9.30am - 12.30pm, from 30th October 2014 to 4th December 2014.
